Description of what I did: I built the car. I made the wheels by using CD's and to make the car roll better putting duct tape on the wheels and to perfect the wheels I put rubber bands on it. Then I put a piece of wood in the hole in the CD's so the wheels could turn. I also attached the rubber bands together to use that as our engine. I nailed in the nail in the wood so the rubber bands could wrap around it. We had to twist the rubber bands seven times so the car could go exactly five meters. When the presentation came around the corner there was only two people and I was one of them so we had to work even harder to make a good presentation in front of the class.
Concepts: The hybrid car had concepts such as speed, velocity, and acceleration. The car had most of its speed in the first two meters and slowed down after the third.
Reflection: Peaks: There were many peaks. I took a leadership role and did most of the project. I was super focused and had fun making the hybrid car. The second peak was that I've improved so much in working productively. I get my work done quickly and making it as good as it can be. Pits: There was some people in my group who got off task easily so I think I can improve my leadership and help them stay on task so we can finish the project faster. The second pit was that our we were a little unprepared for the presentation because we couldn't find the right computer so that we could present. Next time I will make sure my group and I are always prepared.
