Description: We were given a container full of hardware tools that we used to represent fossils of animals. We had to compare the hardware items and make connections between them to show the changes that happened over time. There were varies ways of grouping the items so we had to come up with a way that we were going to group them by their similarities.
Concepts: Cladogram: a branching diagram showing the cladistic relationship between a number of species. Evolution: the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth. Fossil: the remains or impression of a prehistoric organism preserved in petrified form or as a mold or cast in rock.
Reflection: This project was very fun and interesting. It was a great learning experience of how we could use hardware tools to explain how we evolved from our ancestors. During this project there was so many great things that I experienced. The first peak was that our group had communicated well together. The second thing that went well during this project was that we stayed positive and it was just a friendly environment to be in. The first pit we had was that we weren't very prepared when coming to class. We had put our poster in a cabinet and had no idea which one we put it in and this happened several times. The second pit was that our time management was not very good. We had not worked as efficiently as we could of. I want to improve using my time wisely. I will continue to stay positive and will try to stay more focused.
